Lush brush and abundant wildlife characterize this 400 acre ranch owned by David & Michael Adame and their families. Santa Cruz Ranch is located near the eastern border of Starr County, 10 minutes west of McCook and near the intersection of Hwy 490 and 2844 in Rincon, Tx.
Santa Cruz Ranch is one of the few remaining South Texas ranches left that has never been cleared for cattle or agricultural purposes. It remains in its original pristine native state. The dense brush and several ponds provide a sustaining habitat to native species which include: Whitetail Deer, Rio Grande Turkeys, Javalina, Bobcats, Coyotes, Wild Hogs, Quail and many other birds.
Santa Cruz Ranch implements a strict management program to provide our hunters with opportunities to harvest quality bucks year after year. The use of year round food plots, protein, and selective harvesting of deer all play a key role in producing Boone and Crocket Bucks.
We are dedicated to enriching and preserving this beautiful region. Santa Cruz Ranch has several photo blinds in which cameras or spectators can capture everyday ranch life.
Ranch facilities include a ranch house and a guest lodge which has a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a full kitchen. A short hike down to the 2 acre fishing lake where you can try your luck on largemouth bass. There is a large caliche patio with a campfire ring and barbeque pit outdoor cooking area.
